About Center Ice

Center Ice, downtown Allentown’s neighborhood ice cream store, reopened Oct. 20, 2016 at 722 Hamilton Street under the new and enthusiastic management of “Ice Cream Aaron” Heintzelman.

Ice Cream Aaron is continuing the shop’s partnership with Hershey’s Ice Cream, and is currently offering at least 14 flavors of hand-dipped ice cream from right here in Pennsylvania.

But that’s not all.

“I’m most excited about my milkshakes, Ice Quakes and Ice Flakes,” Ice Cream Aaron said. “I’m always developing a few specialty recipes, but when you get down to it, let’s throw some ice cream in a cup with some milk, coffee or soda and get down to business.”

A milkshake, quake or flake isn’t for everybody, so Center Ice also offers a variety of sundaes, hot coffee and will be have limited daily amounts of hot apple cider (get it before it’s gone each day!) during the fall and winter.

Don’t forget about the pretzel cones, waffle cones, chocolate chip cones, dishes, sundaes, candy, fresh-popped popcorn and roasted peanuts.

Fall hours will be Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
